Old House Road, Pasadena

Originally built by a noted architect as his primary residence in 1967, this was a unique property to begin with. Lucky for us, the long driveway was already paved, and in great shape, and the expansive yard was already beautifully landscaped. The house itself however, though well maintained, needed a lot of updating. Once we decided how best to improve the flow of the floor plan, the house, with its many spaces, created the perfect canvas for some of our favorite design features. The completed property checks all of the boxes with a huge, open kitchen with a walk-in wine display wall and pantry, upstairs loft with a wet bar, downstairs apartment/recreational space with separate entrance, and an over-sized swimming pool and spa. To enhance privacy, we added an electric gate to the driveway entrance.
